Gradient Lips...

The finished look! (Hair down)

Finished look (Hair up) Couldn't decided which one I rathered, haha!

Hey guys, another quick little post!

I bought Kate Moss Lipstick from Rimmel, it's No4, a dark purple, almost black! I bought it to experiment with mainly, then I thought it would be awesome for Halloween.

I did a quick little look with some gold and lilac colours on the lid, with a mossy green on the lower lash line! I contoured the cheeks, with very dark bronzer and used a lighter BB Cream for the skin, to make the look more dramatic and Halloween-esqe!

To get the gradient lip look, I lined the lips with an eyeko eyeliner pencil in Plum (got to work with what you got, ey?) I then added the Kate Moss lipstick around the edge and I then added Pink Punch from maybelline in the centre of the lip!

More looks coming soon... Hope you enjoyed :)

Kirsten Stewart Inspired...

The finished look.

Hey Everyone!

My kind friend Catherine, yet again let me borrow her face for me to experiment on, and i got inspired by pixiwoo from youtube to do the Kirsten Stewart inspired look! I love using Catherine as her deep eye sockets and large lids are very easy to work with, as the product can be blended and you still have the highlight space under the brow!
I love recreating these looks and love sharing them on my blog for you guys, to give you inspiration for night outs, weddings, and any other occasions.

As for the products I used, I tried to keep them as close as I could to the pixiwoo tutorial. I will list them below:

Base:
Revlon Colourstay Foundation - Sand (was not happy with the flashback from this product)
MAC eyeshadow in Charcoal Brown for the Brows, using Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown for the end of the brows.

Eyes:
Maybelline Gel Eyeliner - Black, all over the lid
MAC eyeshadow - Cranberry, over the black gel liner
Bourjois Delice de Soleil - 12 Fair/Medium Skin, in the crease to blend
Maybelline Gel Eyeliner - Black, to line, waterline, under the eye and tightline
Smashbox Mascara - Black
HD Brows Pallete- used black shade for outer corner of the eye

Face:
Bourjois Delice de Soleil Bronzer
Maybelline Dream Matte Powder

Lips:
Barry M Lipgloss - 11
Collection 2000 Cream Puff - Fairy Cake 3

Bourjois Bargain!

Volume Clubbing Ultra Black and Volumizer, Bourjois mascaras.

Bourjois Volume Clubbing Ultra Black Mascara.

The Volume Clubbing wand (My favourite type of wand)

The much loved Bourjois Volumizer mascara.

Step 1 wand...

... Step 2.

Hi :)
I recently found out that Superdrug have an offer on all Bourjois mascaras... Any mascara for £5.99! So, for all you bargain buyers out there, get yourselves to Superdrug! I was on my lunch break in work, thinking where I had seen this FAB news and couldn't find it anywhere, Twitter, Facebook, Email...

So in the end I thought I would just go to Superdrug for a look anyway... and I found it!!
When I got to the Bourjois stand I saw that most of the mascaras had gone, as its such a good deal! But, I did find one I hadn't tried before so I picked it up. It was the Volume Clubbing Ultra Black mascara, looking at the wand I do like the size and shape of it, its not too big, not too small, and seems to pick up just the right amount of product for the mascara not to be clumpy! (Full review of both mascaras in a few weeks)
The other mascara I picked up was one I have tried before, and one that is loved by many... the Volumizer. I  find that the two step system of the mascara can be a bit too much for me, but I do like the look it gives my lashes for everyday make-up looks. I was very tempted to try more of the mascaras that were left, but thought two was enough in the end, as I still have a few in my collection I need to use up first.

Very happy with these purchases all in all, so make sure you go and get yours before they are all gone!

Wedding Bells and Butterflies...

The Bride, and that dress...

The beautiful Bride and her Husband

The products I used...

In action...

The Cake <3

Last week I was lucky enough to be asked by my work colleague Catherine to do her hair and make-up for her wedding day! Of course, I jumped to the chance!

... It was 14.07.12...
I got to her house ready to start at 9am, as she was leaving for the church at 11:30am, I set up, and got to work, leaving my 2 hours to work my magic, I started...

Firstly, I cleansed Catherine's face and neck with Bioderma, I then went on to her base, I used GOSH Cream Foundation Primer all over her face, concentrating on her chin and nose, I then mixed Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation in 021 Nude and Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in shade 52. For concealer I used Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer in again shade 52. To contour I used Soleil Tan De Chanel and Bourjois Delice de Soleil or bronzer. For blush... I used MAC cremeblend blush in Something Special, and set it with a light dusting of NARS blush in orgasm. For highlight, nothing but MAC Mineralize Skinfinsh in Soft and Gentle.

Lastly, eyes... As a base I used NARS Eyeshadow Primer, and Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24h in 35- On and On Bronze. For eyeshadow I used a combination of MAC eyeshadows, All That Glitters, Satin Taupe, Nylon, Charcoal Brown. For mascara I used Miss Sporty Fabulous Lash Waterproof Mascara. For brows, I used Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in 001 Dark Brown, and set them with MUA clear mascara. I finished off the look by adding Eyelure Individual Lashes in short on the corners of the eyes.

Well... Catherine looked stunning, and to set it all off her dress was amazing, Thank you for letting me do it and GOOD LUCK to all you reading this that have a wedding look to do coming up!

Thank you for reading...

Setting up for Paris Fashion Week, would LOVE to have seen the show!

More Macaroons for a gift for my sister... she enjoyed them!

Hey Everyone!
I got back from Paris with my Boyfriend yesturday! I had the most amazing time, we went for 4 days and got to see most of the things we wanted too!
The first day was a glorious day, almost 24 degrees so that was a bonus! Firstly, we visited the Eiffel Tower for some quick snaps, walked around and saw the Louvre, Champs Ellysse, the Arc De Triumph, we saw all the very posh shops like Chanel, Dior, Hermes, did no shopping there obviously, saw the Ritz Hotel, and I got to wander about in Sephora!!! <3 That night we went on a Paris by Night Tour where we saw the Eiffel Tower and the other main monuments all lit up, was SO pretty!
The nest day the weather was not so good, quite windy and it did rain for a little while! We went up to the Sacre Coeur Christian Church, and the veiws were amazing! We then took a walk down to the artist square where all the artist where selling their paintings and drawing anyone that wanted a portrait. Stopped for an AMAZING hot chocolate! Then made out way to the top of the Eiffel Tower, again the veiws where amazing!!

All in all, I LOVED my time in Paris...

Hope you enjoy this blog post, you should definalty visit Paris... it is an amazing city to look at, but take lots of money coz damn is it expensive!

Neon and Glitter!

I just got back from Paris, and after all the travelling, I got home and wanted to refresh my nails and toes with a matching, fun, bright design! So, this is going to be a quick little nail look and a very cheap one at that.

The neon pink nail vanish is from Primark, I find the formula fantastic, its smooth and very glossy when you apply it. For a real opaque nail I would apply 2-3 coats. As for the price £2.50!!!
The Glitter nail varnish is from Topshop, its a multi grain holographic glitter and its £6!

Hope you enjoyed this little nail look! :)

Naural Collection Lipstick in Moisture Shine - Rose Bud.

Hey Abbie's Beauties :)
Finally, a new make-up look! It's been agggesss...
As one of my friends in work is getting married this summer, I was inspired to do a wedding makeup look.
I got inspired by the simplicity of Bella Swans make-up from the Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn! I love the hint of colour on the corner of her eyes, with a smoky lid.. very sultry and sexy without too much. As i think less is more on your wedding day! As for the lips... The natural Collection Lipsticks are £1!!!!! They are so so so moisturising and go on the lips so smooth and pigmented. The staying power of the lipstick is amazing too.. Got to have a good lipstick with all the kisses you will be giving on your wedding day including the most important one! <3
I hope you like this make-up look :)
